The challenge
Disney’s business was expanding into dozens of new markets, fast. Localization was the bottleneck: manual, fragmented across tools, and unable to keep pace with the volume or quality a global audience expects.
The mandate: make global expansion scalable. Turn a slow, ad-hoc process into a product and an operating system.
My role
I led product for globalization across the portfolio, growing from Senior PM to Manager of four PMs. I owned strategy, discovery, and execution, from vendor and tooling ecosystems to the AI work that reshaped delivery.
I partnered across engineering, content, and operations toward one goal: remove language barriers at scale.
What I did
• Led 4 PMs across international launches in 33 languages and 155 countries.
• Shipped 5 CMS–TMS integrations, cutting delivery time by 63%.
• Drove AI initiatives delivering 2× delivery speed, 150% more resource capacity, and a 46% cost reduction.
• Surfaced language-data problems and AI opportunities, lowering language barriers by 65%.
• Optimized the vendor and technology ecosystem for $1M+ in savings.
• Built scalable processes for intake, prioritization, QA, and analytics.
